[TowerTalk] Testing Yagi at ground level

Anything below a wave length won't do much for you ... flipping up vertical
and pulling a 1/4 wavelength up will be semi-close...so either put it up or
tram the antenna. once set, tramming will take 5 minutes to go up 100
feet..five minutes to come down and make adjustments.....

Ok , I have my Mosley PRO57B put back together and need to test it. It is
currently only about 3 ft off the ground in the horiz position .... can I
test it out this way ? Moving it to vertical to test it is better I am sure
, but , at the time by myself it is a bit difficult. What should I expect to
see with ti so low to the ground.
