[TowerTalk] Experience with phased verticals on 40m?

Hi John

I had a 3 element phased array on 40 and it worked great until the wind took 
it down.  It was switchable in 6 directions and was like rotating a beam. 
Would like to get it back up someday.  73

Anyone have real-world experience with phased verticals on 40m?  Actual 
comparisons to high dipole, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Bottom line...was it worth the effort?
