I used the 12V version of GH-1 for a homebrew QSK box.
It works great.  The whole box runs on +12V.  There
is a capacitor boost that puts +24V on the coil for
a few milliseconds after PTT is asserted.  The relay
settles within 5 milliseconds, limited by contact
bounce.  IE, you cannot make it faster by applying
more than +24V.

The size is slightly different than the RJ-1 it replaced.
IIRC, the GH-1 is metric and the RJ-1 was imperial.
I mounted it in a rubber grommet so the metric threads
don't matter anyway.
