[TowerTalk] New Sheaves for Crank-Up

Hi Tony -
Some time ago I tracked a 60 foot pole. It worked fine but then I
"inherited" a tower.
I haven't seen the track/ "carriage" you reference but it sounds like a good
starting point. However, don't loose track of the torque the antenna will
subject the track to. Perhaps matching cross bars on the tower and carriage
that could be bolted together when the carriage/antenna is up and in place.
I used nesting channel beams, but still bolted them together. I also
fabricated a cap for the top of the pole that incorporated front and back
sheaves to handle the hoisting cable.
Good luck with your project.
