[TowerTalk] RG-149

Yes Mike,

I am not sure, but I seem to remember that this topic has come up before
when a cheap source of such cable came on the surplus market.

The only way to be sure is to measure the diameter of the inner conductor
bundle and the diameter of the dielectric and then do a quick calculation as
to the approximate impedance of the cable.

Also check what the dielectric is - solid of a foam.

Cheers

I checked with the person who has the cable and he says it is 52ohm and I
also checked the interenet and found that it is listsd on some websites as
52 ohm and other websites 75ohm. This is the rather confusing part.

http://montoya.sdsmt.edu/ee382/handouts/RG_coax_list.pdf

http://www.qsl.net/aga6la/coaxlist.html

Both above websites list it as 52 Ohm coax

But Allied lists it as 75 Ohm Coax.
