You just asked a few simple questions with complicated answers.
Read this: https://sites.auburn.edu/admin/facilities/spw-bid-calendar/11-150%20AU%20Regional%20Airport-Construct%20a%20Self-Supporting%20Radio%20Tower/Project%20Documents/1/Motorola_R56_2005_manual.pdf
"Power line filter" might as well put it on the shack side of whatever you might be filtering.
I prefer the method outlined in the Motorola document. Dig a trench around the shack and use a number of ground rods, bonded together with tower, single point ground and the building service entrance ground with large copper wire.
I use 7 8 foot ground rods.
If you can drive them, use 8' rods. They're cheap.
Again, these are not simple cut and dried answers...
I invested in this conversation so that you'd tell me more about your aluminum foil and copper wiring shielding in your shack. Pictures maybe?

The shack is located around 12 feet from the main house. I have a conduit burried between the house and the shack. Now, where is the best place for a line filter? Shall I put it there the power line exiting the house or there it entering the shack?

I heard somewhere tha it is more efficient to use several short (4 feet) grounding rods than one long (8 fet) rod. Does anyone knows how many short rods are needed for each long rod or is this a fractional number?
