The only component common to just the A display is the CD4056 BCD-7 segment driver.

Subject: [TowerTalk] AlfaSpid controller problems
Hi guys,
I am using Alfaspid Rot1Prog rotator here. Strange thing happened few weeks
ago... Rotator works OK, but I do have problems with the controller.
Controller has two 7-segment 2-digit LCD (A1/A2 and B1/B2).
Right (B) displays shows all the numbers OK, but left (A) doesn't. About
half of the left - "A" LCD segments do not illuminate, i.e. - if I turn
antenna to 270 degrees; only half of number 2 which is on A2 display shows
up, hard to read. Same thing thing with A1, ie. "H" - half auto mode, only
part of "H" is there.
I have replaced "A" LCD display, still the same, checked resistors - looks
OK...
Here is the schematics:

Any idea what could be wrong?
