I have 4 SQ with 50 radials on each vertical and 2L yagi @ 52m for 80m

In EU is Yagi always better
For DX sometimes Yagi sometimes 4SQ but i would say 65-70% yagi and 30-35 %
4 SQ
I noticed that during the summer time yagi play better and during the deep
winter
4SQ getting better and better!
As well usually getting better reports for on 4 SQ when other station is
running 4 SQ or similar!
4SQ hears very well with much better F/B and switching directions is very
fast in compare to yagi ;)

I do have similar setup on 40m as well but 40m yagi is almost on 1 WL (36m)
and it wins always against 4 SQ !

OTOH, W6UC had a 4 square and seemed to do quite well compared to the guys
with Yagi's.
