[TowerTalk] Tower Jack?

This website claims that there are several patents. 
http://www.superiormusic.com/towerjack.htm . I would be cautious about 
copying and selling it however it looks like it would be easy and 
inexpensive to build one for your own use. Superiormusic has a number of 
items for sale on ebay, I am not sure how they are related to the tower jack 
product.

In theory, you need to have the patent number on it if you claim patented, 
but there's plenty of examples where the mfr doesn't do that.

It could be a design patent, too (they tend to be very narrow, but at least 
you can claim "patented").
However, none of the easy searches turns up anything likely.


If the patent issued in the mid 90s, then it would be expiring about now 
(assuming the patent holder has paid all the fees. otherwise it would have 
expired ealier)
