The dipole should work well for TX. You might want to consider adding RX
antennas to reduce the QRN.

For wpx contest I can only work the night shift. Am thinking of 80
meters but
undecided on an antenna.Choices are dipole @125ft, 1/4 wave vertical. or
1/2
wave vertical dipole.
