[TowerTalk] us tower hdx-689 sheave replacement

How do you guys tell if the bearing is frozen ?  Can you tell by inspection ?  Maybe
while the tower is being raised or lowered by looking at the side of the bearing ? (if you can see it)
I want to check all of mine and trying to figure out how to go about it.
