I just wanted to say that I bought a FORCE 12 5BA.  It is a great performing
antenna.  Bought it BECAUSE I wanted an antenna without traps or moving
parts.  It just sits there and radiates and receives.  In addition, not
having traps:  snow will fall off easier as the elements bend.  Nothing to
"trap" the ice, either.
