[TowerTalk] Unknown antenna

Having found a TH-4 back in 1975, I bought it and worked a lot of DX with it
until I replaced it with a new TH-7 right after they came out. The TH-4 did
have a close spaced reflector without traps and the traps were covered in
blue plastic. The blue plastic was open in a few places so I coated mine
with clear Krylon.

I think all that have called it an old Hygain th beam are correct, the
insulators are the type used in their old verticals.
If the boom is 15.75 it could be an old th-4
Here is the link to BAMA for the th4
http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/hygain/th4-190/

The element without traps sound like the 10 meter reflector.
Please let the group know when you confirm the beam.
Thanks, Ron

There's a copy of the HyGain TH2 manual in the Boat Anchor Manual Archive:

The driven element insulators in the drawings look just like the insulators
in your photo.

Hi folks, below is a couple of photos of a tri-band antenna. It is a three
element beam for 20-10 meters.

on element that wasn't taken apart before I got it is 12 ft. in length which
I believe to be the director,

no coils. The other two elements have 4 coils , two on each side. The
coils are blue in color with exposed

windings. It has a large balun which was wound out of coax and put inside a
metal shield, shown in photo

2. I am looking for a pdf file with info on the antenna. Thanks for any
help you can give.
