Stan, the 45G tower is not rated for that height unguyed. Even if was
rated, 6 sections would cost $1614 plus about $500 or so for freight.

Universal has a model 4-60 that is rated for 80 mph winds without guy
wires. That tower and a base sells for $1488 plus about $275 freight through
Texas Towers.

A heavier version, model, 6-60 is good for 100 mph winds and sells for
$1758 plus about $300 freight.

Both towers include hinged bases to make installation easier and the
concrete pad requires no rebar as the steel base assembly provides that need.

There are even heavier duty models in case one wants to later install a
serious antenna system.

All of this can be discussed further by calling us at 800 272 3467.

Sorry for the selfless plug here but this application begs for a better
solution.

Hi all, I need to get a rough estimate of what it would cost to install a
ground mounted, self supporting 55 to 60 foot tower, supporting a 6 meter
ground plane.

Cost would include... say a run of LMR400 with proper tower and cable
grounding and an entrance panel. Would Rohn45 be up to that task?

Location; up in the hills of northern New Jersey.

Thanks for your help,

Stan
