As far as I know our tower, restricted for ham radio use and erected under PRB1 etc, are exempt from tax. You will find that text at the end of the ordnance.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Tower and Property Tax

I recently took out a building permit to erect a 72' crankup tower. Not long
afterward, I received a letter from my county tax assessor, he had been notified
that a building permit had been issued and was inquiring into the details of my
'new construction'. A form with multiple choice questions was provided.
Naturally, 'Ham Radio Tower' was not one of the available choices so I simply
wrote it in the comments section and submitted the form.

Dying to find out whether the county decides that the tower increased or
decreased my property value! Could be great ammunition against neighbors who
might argue that a tower, nextdoor, would lower their property value.
