what does the new pot look like... had mine replaced once because the bushing seized up, but the replacement was the same as the original which can be seen at: http://wiki.k1ttt.net/2012%20Maintenance%20and%20Upgrade%20Blog.ashx#k0xg

the only problem with going to the magnetic pulse thing is he apparently has had 2 different motors, one has the tail shaft, the other doesn't, and he doesn't know which one I have.... and I never took the cover off to look before I installed it.

I use the pulse counters on my K0XG rings with Green Heron controllers and
they work flawless.

I prefer pots, but the way he does them doesn't work in my icy
environment... so I found he has both and he sent me a kit to put in a
magnet/relay for pulse counting. now I just have to get up there and hope
the motor has the tail shaft to put it on.

A tip of the hat to K0XG rotating tower systems....fast service.

I called Richard Thursday evening needing a replacement pot. He sent it
out the next day, with no payment needed until I received it. I got it
Tuesday and all is good.
