[TowerTalk] Hy-Gain Calibration Pot/Switch

I found in my collection a Hy-Gain rotor control box that has a push/pull 
switch on the calibrate pot.  None of the manuals for my TT and Ham-4 rotors 
mention that switch.  Can someone explain how the switch is to be used or 
point me to a URL for the manual that would?  Tnx
