[TowerTalk] 80 meter vertical question

You didn't mention how long your radials are and whether they are buried or elevated, but for 65' radials just off the ground, EZNEC says that resonance is as you indicated, 3550 KHz.  This is with #10 wire, smaller wire will move it slightly higher in frequency.

Shorten your vertical wire a bit at a time and retest.  EZNEC suggests 58.25" but it's best to approach it a little at a time to avoid overshooting the target.
