[TowerTalk] New rotor planning

I had two Yaesu 2800DXA rotators at my Aruba station. One turned a 2el 40m
OptiBeam and home brew 20m beam on a 36' boom. The other was used for 10m
and 15m beams H.B beams. The wind in Aruba rarely stops and the rotators
were under constant stress from the antenna rocking back and forth. I had
no issues with either rotator ever except for corrosion from the salt
spray.

Hi all,

I am replacing my old broken Yaesu 2800sdx rotor. Looking at either a Yaesu
2800DXA or a Hygain T2XDX.

I have a cushcraft 2el 40 and a Bencher Skyhawk tribander on the tower.

Anyone have thoughts/experience on either of these rotors.

Thanks for any ideas.
