[TowerTalk] PowerPole connectors

There is one thing I don't understand about Field Day, since I don't
operate it myself:

Don't people bring heir own gear? I would want to bring my own
transceiver and power supply.  I would NEVER hook up to someone else's
power supply or battery. 

I can see having a common AC generator, but that has nothing to do
with PowerPole and AC connectors are already standard. 

Just curious.
