K7LXC and N0AX published two widely respected *scientific* studies
of tribander performance using validated measurement techniques to
directly compare the performance of the tested antennas against a
standard (dipole). These were field tests not some modelling exercise
that failes to capture real world losses in the antenna design.

In those tests, the Mosley antennas TA-33, PRO-57B and PRO-77 were
the *worst* performers in their respective (small and large tribader)
categories. The TA33 averaged less than 1 dB gain compared to a dipole
on 20 meters and less than 1.5 dB gain compared to a dipole on 10
meters. The PRO57B and PRO77 both averaged less than 1 dB gain
compared to a dipole on 20 meters and more than 1 dB *LESS* gain
compared to a dipole on 10 meters.

The small tribander group typically showed 3 dB on 20 meters and 4 dB
on 10 meters vs. a dipole while the large tribander group typically
showed 4+ dB on 20 meters and 5 - 6 dB on 10 meters.

Enjoy your Mosely ... I'm also on the DXCC Honor Roll (CW and Mixed)
and my only antennas are a 20-10 meter dipole at 20 feet, an R5
(vertical) with base at 20 feet, and a 160-40 meter trapped inverted V
with apex at 40 feet. As has been said many times - anything that
radiates will make QSOs.
