Byron,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. It's not the service before the
sale that counts. They ALL do that in order for the greenbacks to
flow. Does not matter whether it's ham radio or automobile or fill in
the blank. Sales droids ALL think that their money is in your pocket.
I've heard some sweet songs and occasionally led myself down the
garden path, in addition to being flat out lied to or simply misled.
Good life lessons, unfortunately.

The real measure of a manufacturer is how they deal with this sort of
after the sale error. Not classy at all.

## So exactly what did transpire when you phoned em / e-mailed them ???
You make it out like M2 told you to piss off, get lost, your problem. I find that
hard to believe. IF parts are damaged or missing, its just more time and effort and
$$ that M2 would have to deal with. Most ant makers will strive to get it right the 1st
time. Anything less, and they are not doing themselves any favours..and its costing em
time and $$.

## On a side note, a friend bought M2 yagis.... from 80m through 6m,
including 17+12m... and 3 stacks on 20m, and 2 stacks on 40 + 15m, and
stacks on 6m. His double wide garage was loaded to the ceiling with crates.
Zero problems with 13 yagis..all shipped in one order. He even had em custom
make special cnc machined brackets for the baluns.

## been a long time since I last talked to Mike Stahl, but he was a wealth of knowledge
on the hr long phone conversation. He isnt the kind of fellow to sell you the biggest
yagi in a particular lineup either. More of a balanced, conservative approach, factoring
in the type of tower, mast, mast material used, bearings used, and rotor in use.

## at the time, I enquired about their 125 mph rated 2-el 40m yagi. He told me their
100 mph version was more than ample for my location, and wx condx, and not to spend
more money on the heavier version. He could back it up too... with feedback from the
other fellows in my same area, with the same yagi..

## It appears like you are only giving us half the real story. What do we have to do here,
phone M2 myself..and get the other half of the story ??
