##  Nonsense.  8 ga wire blows away 12 ga every time, hands down. 
10 + 8 ga stranded cu wire, In the RW-90  format, with heavy insulation it comes with,
makes for superb outdoor ant wire.  All he needs to do of course, is to just chop a bit off
each end.   What I would like to know is....will the 160m inverted vee  screw up the
pattern of any of the typ 40-10m yagis above it.   Or for that matter, a 80m rotary dipole.
