[TowerTalk] Looking for a TB4 bearing - need not be pretty

 Tom,      I  looked  into the Fernco  model  you 
suggest.
           But  after  speaking with  an  Ferno 
engineer  he  suggested I use   WC700-450  along 
with  part  #
           4.380-2.125  (  which is a bushing )
     The  top  opening  on  the WC700-450  is  4 
1/2  inches  but  the  bushing   will  reduce 
that opening
 2.125"  which is a much better  fit  for a 2 " 
mast.   than  the   2.346"  opening of  the 
P1056-42...
   His  reason  for not  using  the P1056-42 is 
when  tightening  the   band on top ,  only  the 
immediate
    area of  the band  (behind the band ) will 
tighten to the mast  leaving the area  above  to 
bellow out.
          Then if  want  to add  caulking to this 
open area  with  something  good  like  silicone , 
he  can't  guarantee    the effects of  silicone 
on  the Ferno  material.

    The  bushing  is a very  tight / snug  fit 
into  the WC700-450  part.
