I used the blue cable protectors the Box stores sell. Abt $4 for a 10' peice. I cut them in half & slide them up the EHS before I shug the guy at the base. Mine havre been on 4 yr.s & no sun breakage in the TN sun. You can buy the made for plastic Rusteloum cans in safety colors & spray them too. K9IL
