[TowerTalk] Cushcraft XM240 SWR Issue

When you see a  low SWR at say 7.8 MHz, this is an indication that one of the coils has opened (corrosion, broken trap, etc). But if the SWR is flat across the band but higher than previous, I would agree with K7LXC and the process to resolve. Regards,

    Methinks you have a feedline  problem. I'd start at the antenna 
checking the swr and work your way  back to the shack from there. 
 
    A feedline failure usually  indicates higher swr but if there's no dip 
anywhere (did you check above  and below 40M?), then it doesn't look like an 
antenna.
