Forgot to add that I use Paladin two and three-step coaxial prep tools. 
These tools precisely prepare the coax to the correct cutting distance and 
depth.

I have Amphenol and RF Industries branded crimpers.  The quality of both
seems equal to me.

RF Industries crimp connectors also seem to be as good as those manufactured
by Amphenol.  I use both brands.
