[TowerTalk] HG-70 HD Crankup Tower Winch

I need to replace my Fulton K1550 brake winch.

Have been looking at the Dutton-Lainson DLB1500A or DLB2500A  and the drill drive kit which is available for them'.

Also considering another Fulton K1550 or K2550. However, Fulton says they do not have a drill kit nor suggest using a drill motor to operate either winch.

There is a significant difference in the cranking ratio between either company’s 1500 or 2500 capacity winch.

There had been some discussion from some of you who did a replacement (which I didn’t keep, aggggh). If you did not just replace the K1550 I’d like your input on what you did and why.
