Hi Vince,

Dutton-Lainson Company makes their products in America and offers a 5
year warranty on their brake winches and worm gear winches. Their
engineers are available to talk to by phone and they offer replacement
parts for all of their products.

Here are a few links to peruse:

  * Specs & Comparison: https://www.dutton-lainson.com/dlbspecs.php
  * Worm Gear Winch: https://www.dutton-lainson.com/products.php?cat=20

I recently purchased one of their WG2000 w/hex drive worm gear winch's
to fold over my US Towers TX-455.

Because this model utilizes a 5/8" hex drive, I can easily drop my tower
with my battery operated Makita drill/driver; Hex to Square Socket
Adapter and 5/8" socket. Lifting the tower from its laid-over position
requires a bit more torque than the drill driver can supply so I use my
115 VAC 1/2" Milwaukee drill. The Hex to Square Socket Adapters are
available a Sears:

Good luck with your project!
