I also have five Fastenal's nearby.  I'm going to see what they have 
available to replace the small split washer that already exists on top 
of the OR2800.  The bolt is a small 1/4"-20 and the split washer has a 
measured outside diameter of .488 dia.  The pocket in the bottom of the 
mast centering device is .506 in inside diameter.

Looking through the McMaster-Carr catalog, there are two  1/4" sizes 
available in SS but the following has an outside dia. of .450 -

There are also two of the zinc coated variety in 1/4" with the following 
also having a .450 outside dia. -

The second application where I think these Nord-Lock washers may have 
merit is on the bottom of the rotator.  I've seen the safety wire/bolt 
kits for sale, but it's tight quarters in-between the tower braces to 
wind safety wire for the inexperienced.
