I've had a Yaesu 2800 up for a long time. Not pinned. Guess I ignored the advice way back not to tighten too tightly. Vertical half of the mount split. Tower free wheeled. All cables pulled apart. Hard to drill through that hardened mast, but guess I have to. N0UU
