[TowerTalk] Telrex Rotator

At my previous QTH, I replaced a Hy-Gain rotator that broke nearly every year with a Telrex rotator. It was up for at least five years and I never had an issue.  It is a very simple device, just a large A/C motor attached with a chain to a gear box and a selsyn indicator. I am sure that it would not be difficult to use a more modern controller with one or even build something similar from scratch without spending a lot of money but there does seem to be little interest in this type of rotator.

I use a Telrex. .and just sold one...tried to sell it in the USA...and  can't believe noone wanted it!..I even had it at Dayton flea market..if i had a dollar for everyone that looked at it and commented on it...i could have scrapped it!

 

 I ended up selling and shipping it to Namibia of all places to a scout camp radio club.

I probably have one somewhere but I cannot immediately locate it. As I
recall the wiring is pretty straight forward and easy to follow, selsyn,
a/c motor, and limit switches.

Hi,

Does anyone have a copy of the schematic for the 12 terminal Telrex
Rotator/Controller Wiring?

Particularly the Controller/Motor wiring but any and all info would be
helpful !
