Depending on what insulator it might range from a year for PVC to many, maybe 10 - 20 years for some of the better once (like TEFLON).

The stripping methods have been described in a couple of prior postings. I don't consider them great.

Yes, the insulation deteriorates after it has been up for awhile.............

I am interested in the stripping method when you guys can present it.

doubt
because what you assert is, to be charitable, unsupported

observation.
