[TowerTalk] UV and WX deterioration of THHN insulation, and effects

While this topic was interesting, to start, I think I'll just stick with the
tried and true of sticking aluminum and wire in the air the old fashioned
way and working what I can. At my age I don't have the time to worry about
whether the metal I use is crumbly or whatever. I just want low SWR, good
reports and for it to stay up reasonably long (difficult to do sitting on
the ocean).
Carry on, we are still reading but need lots of coffee to keep me going now.

This is very interesting. I for one am quite intrigued and will be
eagerly awaiting any definitive interpretable results. The stalactite
analogy gives me pause to consider.
Best of luck to all involved in delving into the mystery.
