[TowerTalk] "Magic" length from tower to first insulator

Manzanita and pine: like adding gasoline to a fire. Calfire said it was one of the quickest spreading fires they had seen.

The good thing is that now I don’t have to hack through the trees to install antennas  :^)

Just  planning installation of my first ever towers so not much experience
here.  What is the reason for the "last ten feet" utilizing EHS instead of
Phillystran?

If it was me the magic length would  be how many steps to the telephone or
computer it takes to order some  Phillystran and associated stuff and
forget about 1/4" EHS, except for the  last 10 feet.
