Good and bad in everything I suppose. I used one on my first TH6...ran fine 
for about 5  years.. Then bought a TH7..used the supplied BN86 with it for 4 
more years.  Ran an Alpha 3 holer...76PA back then. No issues...  - Mike,

Everyone with a BN-86 should disintegrate it and buy a real balun.  I bought
one with my very first tribander and it didn't last very long.

Maybe he did and it was so badly burnt up the pic was blank because
it completely disintegrated :-)
