LCP is really a PIA to inject.  PTFE is a lot easier to handle and I think 
it's probably cheaper, plus you can grind up the scrap and reinject it 
meaning you get nearly 100% use of the material - where with LCP the scrap 
from the process is not recoverable.

PTFE is not a very high-temp material compared to LCP though so you need to 
get on with that soldering quickly.

OK guys,  I am confused.  What is the insulation in the Amphenol 83-1SP ?
What type of teflon is it ?
