[TowerTalk] 3CX800A7 vs. GU-74B

Peter.....Yes I know but I was referencing a 3CX800A7 which is an Eimac 
tube and today is outrageously overpriced.  The Machlette 3CX800A7 (Now 
made in China) is at least still affordable if you can get them.  K5SVC 
says he has been waiting for them on back order for months. My point is 
that many new QRO amps have the GU-74B which is a tetrodes and they are 
fairly easy to get at an affordable price.
