Good news, thanks for sharing. K7NV's mast clamp holds very well. You have
a great rotating system, spend your money once on a quality product and you
are set for decades.

A month or so ago there were a few posts from a couple of guys including
myself regarding the Green Heron controller loosing calibration or creeping
off a heading.

My case has been resolved and the problem wasn't the GH controller.

I had just installed a new PP rotor by K7NV and when we tightened the mast
clamp we didn't back out the bolt K7NV provides to force open the clamp to
remove the mast if necessary. So the clamp wasn't fully tightened and when
the wind was high enough or when the rotor was started/stopped the inertia
of the two antennas on the mast caused it to creep out of alinement.

We discovered the problem and tightened the bracket down 3 weeks ago and
since then the rotor has been In perfect alinement.

So the GH controller wasn't at fault it was cockpit error!
