[TowerTalk] Strange behavior

It is nice to have the antennas aimed accurately, however as a contester
you never know what country is calling next or exactly what path the
signal is taking. Luckily on HF direction is not critical. 10 degrees off
on my 60' boom OWA 20m antenna is less than 1/2 dB down.

The best way, if you have visible items in satellite maps on Google
Earth, is to use the built-in distance and bearing facility.

Tools>Ruler>Line

map length to "feet"

click the cross-hair over spot 1, then click cross-hair over spot 2.
Distance and bearing from spot 1 to spot 2.

At one place I know of, the original estimate of direction was later
proven to be off by 13-14 degrees when finally done in Google Earth
