You don't need to own something to be critical of it if the data on an item is unfavorable.  There are lots of antennas that I've never owned that are demonstrably crap.  Not saying that the Moseley 67 fits that category because I've never bothered to look at the measured data on it, but others have and aren't impressed.  And in general I will trust somebody's actual data over somebody else's anecdotal impression.
