[TowerTalk] Home Weather Station

I have ran a weather station at 23 ft on my tower for nearly 17 years.
Never have I had any interference on any freqs from 40 to 1.2GHz. I run an
ACOM 2000A on HF at 1200w. My weather station is a Peet Bros 2100. The
only problem is initial cost of the system. Not inexpensive. :-( But it
works FB.

Also, if you are more concerned with wind speed, these people have some cool
stuff, including a wind switch that can turn stuff on/off at a predetermined
wind speed (like an alarm! Lower the tower! :-) http://www.inspeed.com/

vertical. I run 1.5 KW and the weather station does not seem to notice my
activities. Been in place about 2 years now..
