Possible?  Yes.  Advisable?  Not so much.  A capacitor made that way
will be fairly low Q (ie lossy).  Also, its effective capacitance
will vary with frequency in such a way as to reduce the bandwidth
of the match.  I'd rather use a doorknob capacitor.
