[TowerTalk] Parts for old Cushcraft 40-2CD 2 el 40 meter beam

Gang,

I just took down a 1982 Cushcraft 40 meter beam that I upgraded the X hat assemblies in the early 1990's.

I need a new brace assembly, a 1 and 1/4" by 72 piece if aluminum for the driven element. The coils are all good but they need to be re-wrapped with high quality tape. 

I probably can get replacement hardware locally if not from MFJ/Cushcraft.

Has anyone bought parts for the older 2 el 40 from MFJ/Cushcraft or does anyone have parts or a junker with good parts?

This has been a great beam and usually first call into most DX locations.  Tom N4KG bought one as he said this was a killer beam. Mounted at 86 feet.
