[TowerTalk] height of equilateral triangle?

Think of the equilateral triangle as a pair of right triangles back to back.


Half of the 40 foot base is 20 feet. The hypotenuse is 40 feet. The height is the missing leg. the answer is the square root of (40^2 -20^2) or about 34 feet 8 inches...
