[TowerTalk] Yaesu G-1000DXA Rtor in LM-470? (what about a LM354E?)

Well, the trick with the T2X and LM-470 (Thank you, Skip, KJ6Y.) is to 
install spacers or similar in order to adjust the height of the rotor 
plate to center the rotor's widest dimension in the open space between 
struts. I have used hose clamps on each of the vertical members with 
their housings facing into the inside of the tower in order to support 
the rotor plate.  I believe others have simply welded the plate in the 
desired position.

The G2800 location was quite critical, although I did get it to work.  I 
don't remember what the key was, but I know others have complained about 
the same problem and the lack of a commercially available right-angle 
connector.
