[TowerTalk] Hy-Gain HDR300 Rotator - Brake Release Solenoid

Hi Folks,
My olde Hy-Gain HDR300 rotator's brake release solenoid has gone open. It appears the OE replacement is not readily available. I'd defeat the DOA solenoid but, I'd rather not leave my big F12 yagi to pinwheel in the wind. I have identified a /possible/ workaround using an off-the-shelf part from Guardian. My question: does anyone have a recommendation for an OE or exact-replacement part?
