[TowerTalk] Winch for laying HD-555 over

 I'm looking at a SuperWinch Tigershark TS-9500 pound winch for lowering my
tower down to a horizontal position.
 I have the US towers heavy duty  raising and lowering fixture. I would
like to replace the handcrank winch with something motorized .
 I know the winch would be able to handle the load what concerns me is the
braking system they call it a proportional brake system.
 Seems that I have read where these can let the tower fall pretty fast
until the weight on the cable reaches a certain point where the brake will
begin to slow it down, that makes me a little nervous...
 Does anyone have any experience with this winch or can elaborate on a
proportional braking system for use with the tower.
