I'm not sure what you mean by "full s21 two ports SOL calibration".
This requires "SOLT" meaning short open load through".  Maybe that is
what you meant.  Full error correction as offered by modern professional
grade network analyzers is much better than trace math techniques.
This is according to the world class experts I used to work with at
Agilent.  The old HP 3577 network analyzer had trace math instead of
real error correction.  It was better than nothing 30 years ago, but
was inferior to the real thing.
