[TowerTalk] Cob Web Antenna

Has anyone actually modeled a Cob Web antenna?

Most of the stuff I find on the web - says - I got a good match it therefore it is a great antenna.

I was wondering how it compares to a dipole.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Turn 80m dipole inv v into something for 30m

I have an 80 inverted V that I would like to transform to something
useful for 30m.

It is fed with RG213 and a balun at the feedpoint.

It is close to 3/4 wavelengths on each side which might be ok but the
match is going to be bad.

It might just be easier to toss up an 1/2 wave V and not worry about the
80m.

Suggestions or comments welcome!
